Day 20
I am finally getting a chance to finish posting pictures from these final parts of our yatra.
GURDWARA SANT BABA GURMAIL SINGH
Next we visited this Gurdwara in Bagha Purana.
GURU NANAK DARBAR NANAKSAR (MANDIRAN)
We travelled to this Gurdwara next.

GURDWARA SRI LOHGARH SAHIB
This Gurdwara is in Dina, Moga. In 1705, Guru Gobind Singh Ji came here and stayed in the house of Bhai Desu Tarkhan, who was a carpenter. Bhai Lakhmir and Shamir wanted Guru Ji to stay with them, but Guru Ji chose to stay with Desu as he had the wish to see the Guru for a long time. He had even made a beautiful bed, but slept on the ground awaiting for when his Guru Ji would come. Finally that time had arrived. Lots of sangat travelled to meet and visit Guru Ji. Bhai Desu and many of the sangat took Amrit here. Guru Ji wrote a letter to Aurganzeb, the Zafarnama here in Persian. In the daytime Guru Ji would spend time in the forests of Dyal Pura Bhai Ka and nightly at Bhai sahib’s house.
GURDWARA SRI MEHDIANA SAHIB
This Gurdwara is in village Mehdiana, Moga. After the Battle of Chamkaur, Guru Gobind Singh Ji visited here, where there was a water reservoir. Here Guru Ji and followers did daatan (brushing teeth with a twig), bathed and meditated. Bhai Daya Singh Ji asked what came next. It is said Guru Ji replied "Bhai Daya Singh I have returned the Debt and have become victorious. Singh and Tiger are kings of the same jungle. Singhs should keep faith in the Almighty” (Wikipedia). Bhai Daya Singh Ji repeat his request on behalf of the sangat. Guru Ji then replied " Sangat is bigger than Guru. Sent father to Delhi on Kashmiri Pandits plea, then on Sangat's request left Anandpur Sahib, left Chamkaur Garhi on Sangat's request, now you are asking me on Sangat's behalf” (sikhiwiki). As discussions went on Guru Ji decided to write the Zafarnama.
Jathedar Jora Singh Lakha took on the sewa of expanding the Gurdwara complex in 1972. This Gurdwara Sahib is a must-see and one needs around two hours to see the sculptures properly. It was unfortunately very hot when we went there but we still really were awe-struken by the artwork by Bhai Iqbal Singh. The details like facial expressions have been carefully attended to. It was heart-breaking to see some of the sad parts of our history as well, because the sculptures are so realistic.

Outside is open to photos but unfortunately inside we couldn’t take photos. I have posted some from online and this picture of Sheikh Farid is also from the references below:
We went very briefly to Jagraon as that is where the Gurmukhs that we were travelling with were from, and they had some tasks to fix in their home.
GURDWARA NANAKSAR SAHIB
We then went to this Gurdwara Sahib to matha tek which I believe was in Nanaksar, Punjab.
Then we drove back to Amritsar that evening. The next part, part 16, will be the final one in this series about our trip.
